Mock Assessment Workshop: Annual Training Session for Candidates of Marie Curie Post-Doctoral Fellowships

Uppsala Forum’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Workshop is postponed for 2023 and resumed again in 2024.

The date for registration will be announced in early 2024. Any inquiries or questions can be sent to Michael Watson-Conneely.

The presentations of earlier grant receivers can be seen via this link.

Are you planning to apply for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship for a post-doc abroad? Uppsala Forum organises a workshop, where you participate in two half-day meetings, in collaboration with Doctoral Student Forum and EU Funding Office for the Humanities and Social Sciences, to help PhD candidates in the later part of their doctoral programs and new PhD holders at Uppsala University to prepare a winning proposal.

The workshop usually is held in the IRES Library, at Gamla torget 3, 3rd floor, Uppsala University. Participation via Zoom can be facilitated.

A transdisciplinary panel of local and international scholars will provide scientific feedback on your draft application, and you will receive advice on how to prepare your proposal and hear from earlier grant-receivers about their experience.

Instructions:

You give a short presentation of the plotline of your project idea and host institutions.

You send in your draft proposal on a proposed date prior to the second workshop to Michael Watson-Conneely. An earlier draft proposal instruction is available here.

During the second workshop each applicant presents the draft research project before a panel of scholars in a mock assessment session and receives scientific input on the project.
