Funding for Development of Research Applications

Uppsala Forum provides financial support for the development of research applications involving researchers from the Uppsala Forum units. The funding is aimed towards early career researchers who have defended their thesis within the last five years.

Applications can be submitted throughout the year and should take the form of 5 pages including budget, in which project participants and the project idea is presented briefly, as well as which grant (RJ, VR, etc.) the research application aims for. Costs are also to be included.

Priority will be given to applications that involve more than one Uppsala Forum participating unit. We encourage collaboration with researchers from other research institutions both in and outside Sweden. The funds cover travel, accommodation, salary and meeting expenses. Applications must not exceed 100,000 SEK (including 30 % overhead costs).

Application deadline is October 31 for the fall semester and March 31 for the spring semester.
