Seminar and Workshop Funding
The application procedure is being reviewed ahead of the next round of applications on March 31, 2020. The procedure will be different compared to earlier. More information on this will be found on this page ahead of the next round. Applications below 20 000 SEK will be processed according to the present guidelines until further notice.
Uppsala Forum provides an opportunity for scholars within the Uppsala Forum departments to apply for funding for workshops, seminars and similar events.
Funds to arrange workshops and seminars within the scope of Uppsala Forum's core areas can be applied for throughout the year (applications amounting to 20 000 SEK including 30 % OH). You may also apply for larger amounts. Such applications should follow the same deadlines as for the Visiting Fellowship Program, i.e. March 31 and October 31.
The Uppsala Forum seminar and workshop funding is open for applications from researchers that are employed within the Uppsala Forum departments.
Applications should be a maximum of two pages. Please note that Uppsala Forum provides funding for travel and accommodation costs only. As a general principle, priority will be given to applications deemed to be of wider interest to the extended Uppsala Forum environment. We encourage applicants to have multidisciplinarity in mind when making applications.
Applications are made on behalf of an Uppsala Forum unit by one or several researchers. Applications must include resumes of all applicants, a description of the activity and time frame.
- Granted amounts always include 30 % OH
- Uppsala Forum covers costs for travel and accommodation only
